NFT Oakland Powered by Zora: A Web 3 Art & Tech Festival For Community by Community

NFT Oakland was a weekend-long festival for web3 creators based in and around Oakland, California. The event was organized by a collection of stakeholders including MOVES, Zora, Non-fungible Oakland and OAK. Since NFT Oakland was a grassroots effort, the educational goal of the event was to give people a tangible sense of how crypto could be directly used within their community.

Onboarding included:

  • Quick and easy NFT Oakland Festival Pass claim via Linkdrop

  • Possibility to redeem NFT for a discount at local business, with a portion of the transaction flowing into the OAK treasury

  • Several Web3 workshops for local artists to get familiar with using the latest NFT tools
